How does this sound?

Should we make it where you start in Slifer (new members) and instead of having posts as a requirment to rank up, you just pay a certain amount of DP to test for a higher dorm? going dorm by dorm. so example:
I start as a slifer when i join, i pay 200 DP to test for Ra Yellow, if i pass, i wait a week or so, then spend 300 DP to test for Obelisk (assuming i have DP for all that)?

I like the idea of having to pay the DP points for the tests, it will encourage people to duel more or set up specific shops to earn those points. I will point out that maybe starting everyone off in Slifer Red isn't the greatest. Maybe just have it so they take a test and score in their dorm they get, then have to earn the DP points to take the test to make it into the next dorm rank. That way people get the dorm they deserve at that time and also will improve the amount of people duelIng for DP points.

This is a really great idea obsidian. I believe it is better to earn the DP points for your test then have to just wait a week to retest. If anything I am behind this 100% (:

I still say we have duel puzzles for tests. Great way to see their knowledge of yugioh and the cards. It perfectly legit! you can even look through your own deck to see what you
re about to draw so a duel puzzle is a great possibility. Starting out at slifer red doesnt seem too fair cuz what if they were good at this? it would be insulting to start out at slifer red D: Thats all i have to say also i do think its a good idea that they should pay DP to test. It will make them learn more or do more. Duel arena FTW
